An e-mail sent to us by a customer on his first experience with us:

Ms. Simpson,

I did not meet you this week while your shop made repairs to my vehicle, but I wanted to express my appreciation for both great service and a fair price for the work done at your shop.

My Chevrolet Blazer broke down (a caliper bolt fell out of the right front brake assembly) as I exited the interstate in Atlanta Monday afternoon. I was able to make it to the motel, but it was obvious to me that the vehicle could not be driven until repairs were made. A colleague of mine for whom your shop had done some work in the past recommended your shop.

I called your shop and they sent a tow truck to pick up the vehicle at the motel where I was staying. Even though they had to send someone to the Chevrolet dealership Tuesday to get them to understand what bolts were needed, they got the repairs made by 5:00 pm Tuesday afternoon when I had someone who could bring me to your shop to pick up the vehicle.

I consider the price charged very fair. That says a lot to me that when a repair shop has someone ‘at their mercy’ that you do what is right and don’t take advantage of the situation. I hope I don’t ever need emergency service in Atlanta again, but if I do, I now know who to call!

I am sending the survey card to AAA with all items marked ‘Totally Satisfied.’ I’m not an AAA member, but if Catherine’s is an example of what you get with AAA, then I probably need to consider joining AAA.
