Comments from our customers

A letter received in the mail from one of our good, regular customers who moved to Texas and then had a problem, which we covered under our warranty for her:

Dear Catherine:
I wanted to thank you for having my car repaired expeditiously. It would have been easy for you to ignore my situation, especially since I am a thousand miles away.

After leaving the Honda dealership last week, I thought the worst. I just knew I’d have to endure the Texas heat without air condition or try to come up with the money to get my car repaired. I called a friend on the way back to my office from the dealership. He chastised me for patronizing a "mom and pop" shop because these type of places were unreliable he said, and did not care about their customers.

By the time I got to work, I was flustered. I called your shop immediately. The moment I talked to Rufus I felt instant relief. His reassurance that the situation would be taken care of and then your call back the same day was awesome.

As a young woman, I’m leery of mechanics and their employers. After reading a referral about Catherine’s Automotive on my job’s intranet, I took my car to your shop. Immediately, I was impressed with the friendliness of your staff and their knowledge about cars. When the mechanics would drive me to work, they never got annoyed with the tons of questions I had about the intricacies of my Honda.

Unfortunately, good customer service is near extinction. I would like to commend you and your staff for holding high standards of ethics. I encourage you to maintain your personable and professional excellence because it sets you apart from the other shops and will continue to carry you a long way.

I have told family and friends about you reconciling my situation and they are amazed. I will continue to recommend Catherine’s Automotive to them as well as former co-workers in Atlanta.

Thanks again,
Ayanna McPhail
